CBCC
Tee time at 8:00 a.m. I saw a video from Padraig Harrington today, and I am going to try to keep some of his tips in mind. Wish me luck—peace out.

Random Facebook Post of the Day
A really great post. My Spotify Wrapped from a couple of years ago.

Random Facebook Post of the Day
I click a random file in my downloaded files from my deleted Facebook account. This picture is from the Truckee DOT inspection station from a trip to Reno, my wife and I took a couple of years ago. I hadn't driven a tractor-trailer for some 20 years, but I still had anxiety passing the inspection station. I never had a problem with that station, even though I was pulled in numerous times. It was a beautiful day for a drive, and we took the scenic route back towards Reno on Do

Golf Betting This Week
I am throwing way too many darts out there this week. It could be painful with an extra PGA event. I went with Aberg on my year-long one-and-done. Akshay is probably my favorite bet if one of the top players doesn't win at Quail Hollow. I like Rai and Li the best at Myrtle Beach. Chacarra is due on the DP World tour and will be pulling for Guido, too. Nelly Korda is giving everyone else a chance this week. Ruoning Yin is my favorite bet there.

Kentucky Derby Recap
I wasn't too far off the mark early in the card. I really appreciated asking myself how far the 6 could take them in race 4, but I did not bet that horse at 7/1. The rest of the card was an unmitigated disaster. I generally don't do well at Pimlico, but we will see you there.

Derby Day!
I have a graduation tomorrow, so I will not be able to pay attention to every race. I have narrowed in on some key horses throughout the day to manage the price on pick 4s and pick 5s. Again, tread lightly early; we don't want to lose the farm in the first couple of races. I think the 5 Splendora is a standout in race 4. I also like the 1 Englishman quite a bit in race 8. With the scratch of the 20 in the Derby, I will be leaning heavily on the 12 Chief Wallabee, with some ti

Kentucky Oaks Recap
I treaded water today for sure. I had a near miss or two, but not real big score misses. I was surprised to see the early pick 5 only paid around $9,000. I am alive in the Oaks-Turf-Derby and the Oaks-Derby double. The 5 in the last would have been really helpful. I was relatively pleased with my handicapping. On to Derby Day.

Kentucky Derby Thoughts
I think I will be leaning on the 12 Chief Wallabee 8/1 and the 20 Full Effort 20/1 on top and in the horizontal wagers. B horses are the 8 So Happy 15/1, 14 Potente 20/1, and the 18 Further Ado 6/1. I have some horses filling out the Super that I haven't heard being tipped much. 4 Litmus Test 50/1, 10 Wonder Dean 30/1, 13 Silent Tactic 20/1, 15 Emerging Market 15/1, and 17 Six Speed 50/1.

1986
I was Googling myself to see how quickly this site would appear in a Google search. Somehow, a caption from my senior yearbook came up, and I had to investigate. I had AI clean the photo up a bit (an actual decent use for AI, who would have thought?). Homecoming week 1986. I was quite the fashion plate.

Kentucky Oaks Day
I don't have a ton of real insight into Oaks Day outside of my handicapping. The first five races are pretty wide open, and I will not be investing much. It has been said a million times. You don't want to unload too many bullets on the day before the Derby. I will be at work for the beginning of the card, and I don't expect to miss much. Good luck, everyone, on Ladies Day.
